Athoz Expands Into Women’s Basketball, Partners With Sydney Flames of the WNBL
Athoz, the Athlete Intelligence System, becomes technology partner of the Sydney Flames, marking its first partnership in women’s basketball.

October 16, 2026 – Athoz, the Athlete Intelligence System that unifies every source of athlete data a sports organization uses into one layer, today announced a partnership with the Sydney Flames of the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL). The agreement marks Athoz’s first partnership in women’s basketball.
Through the partnership, the Sydney Flames will use Athoz to connect all their athlete data in one layer, giving staff a complete picture of each athlete in seconds.
Athoz brings together athlete data from every platform a team uses, including heart rate monitors, GPS wearables, sleep and recovery tracking, nutrition, medical, strength, and scouting data, into one layer. Because all the data lives in one place, Sydney Flames staff can get instant insights that take every factor into account, without searching across separate platforms, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
“Women’s basketball is one of the fastest-growing areas in sport, and the Sydney Flames are exactly the kind of ambitious organization Athoz was built to support,” said Robert de Wolff, CEO of Athoz. “We’re bringing their data together so staff can get answers faster, make better decisions, and get more from every athlete.”
The Sydney Flames partnership follows a period of rapid growth for Athoz, including its August 2026 entry into Australia, backed by NBA Champion Andrew Bogut, with agreements across the NRL, NBL, and AFL; a partnership with reigning NBL champions the Sydney Kings; its September 2026 expansion into Europe with Dunfermline Athletic FC; and the acquisition of Optimum Scouting, now Athoz Scouting.
